Jonathan Reay is a director and co-founder of Reay Public Relations. He is a results-oriented public relations professional with more than 25 years experience, advising a wide range of business and public sector clients on communications strategy and delivery.
A strong communicator, with first class account handling skills, comfortable dealing with people at all levels, he is a strategic and creative thinker, coupled with analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
Before founding Reay Public Relations, Jonathan worked at a senior level for a number of top ten UK PR consultancies, including Harrison Cowley in Manchester, McCann-PR in Birmingham, and Grayling, where he was a director with responsibility for the company’s Birmingham, Nottingham and Leeds offices.
Jonathan established Reay Public Relations with Anna Reay in 2000, to provide a professional public relations service focussed on the needs of legal, professional services and commercial property businesses, which requires a special skill set, including the ability to get information out of senior people who often do not realise they have anything to say, and the experience and creativity to turn their knowledge into a story which will deliver media coverage. Gradually the firm has taken on a number of clients from other sectors using Jonathan’s knowledge and experience of industrial public relations and destination marketing.
He has also advised a number of businesses on communications strategy and delivery via public relations consultancies, including Nestle and KPMG.
At Reay Public Relations, Jonathan specialises in creating and delivering successful integrated media relations, social media and content marketing campaigns for organisation across the UK. Where required Jonathan works with trusted associates to help deliver campaigns.
Reay Public Relations is based in Darlington, Jonathan’s home town.
